    East Brunswick, NJ, October 21, 2024: For health insurance companies, maintaining up-to-date directories of care providers is an ongoing challenge – and new requirements from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) are adding new difficulties. Beginning January 1st, 2025, health plans will need to guarantee that their members can obtain appointments with participating providers within 15 to 30 days (depending on specialty type) – and the payers will need to verify their wait times via “secret shopper” surveys conducted by a third-party entity.

    On October 24th, experts from CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield and Atlas Systems will provide a clear understanding of the new regulations – and offer invaluable insights and solutions.
